Re-treat@ St. Benedict Monastery

The computer science students of UIC had their retreat at St. Benedict Monastery located at Cogon, Digos. They spent 3 days and two night with the monks and Nance. The place was so nice, full of flowers and trees. They also have animals. The ambiance of the place is so relaxing, maybe because of the quite place. The place helps you me to meditate and reflect from what father Istong taught us. He taught us about the cycle of life, how important that families and how to handle life problems that made us discourage in pursuing life. I really admire him for the ideas he impose to us, his perception in life, and his love and words wisdom. He is really one of a kind priest. He really has the sense of humor wherein he can entertain people at the same time share the words of God. God is really good.
And from our retreat I had so many things to discover towards life. Also I realize many things, like; we are made according to Gods image and Likeness. So there are no reasons for me to felt this way, a feeling that is uncomfortable thinking that I might not good enough to be love by someone.
Fr. Istong and God word helped me to mold again the Ellen Navarro that has a self confident and a fighter in every circumstance that I encounter along my way. They helped me to be strong.
I really love spending time with Fr. Istong, I didn’t felt bored. Because what he taught for us really install in my mind. And I’m hoping that even if the session was already done, I still hope and pray that I may continue what I’ve learned from him.

Scary GAme
November 21, 2008I’ve discover a game which is very scary.. it was my sister playing that kind of game, then she asked me if I can be with him while she is playing the game. The game is all about finding the ghost in an abandom place. The site offered you any kind of device that could help you fond the ghost.
IN the middle of our playing, we were shouting and yelling while we are playing. THere is alo a background song, which gives thrilled in the game..
Badly, we didnt finish the game because we were afraid, even my mother watch us and didnt sleep because she was also curiois about the game..heheheh..
This game only offers at 6:00 pm until 6:00am
